If you are anything but new or a beginner to WordPress, then the name Syed Balkhi will be familiar to you.
Syed was born in Karachi, Pakistan and started out his entrepreneurial career at age 7 selling gift cards in open marketplaces.
Then Syed’s family emigrated to the US when he was 11 years old.
Over the last 13 years, Syed (throughout ages – early 20’s to early 30’s) has taken his interest in WordPress websites from an occasional blogging hobby to an 8-figure tech media empire.
And interestingly, it’s all down to the amazingly popular, yet simple business model that rests on his first blog, WP Beginner.
It started out as a pet hobby. A place where people would learn how do build a WordPress website from scratch.
But now WPBeginner attracts millions of online business enthusiasts who are needing guidance building their WordPress web project.
Syed also now owns a slew of tech start-ups which he has acquired from M&A activity within the WordPress ecosystem for which he has become well known for.
But back to basics…
…I want to share with you the systems, principles and methods used by Syed and his team in building his online entrepreneurial career.
Over the next few posts in this series, I’ll be breaking down EXACTLY what makes WPBeginner such a super sales engine for selling software to website beginners.
