Acoustic Clarity is a phrase coined by Poly (a merger of Plantronics and Polycom) the audio and video software and hardware manufacturer.

Acoustic Clarity is the name given to a particular range of hardware and software technologies that are fixed on achieving one simple goal:

“[to] bring the audio experience as close as possible to actually being present.”

This objective is performed using 3 methods:

  • Echo cancellation effects
  • Interactivity enhancing features
  • Microphone steering
  • Smart noise reduction
  • Gain control
  • Active microphone steering

The end result is a fully optimized communication pickup to ensure everybody within the conversation is heard accurately.
