Entrepreneurs take on new business challenges where the optimal array of resources and support is not available. So, an entrepreneur by default bears the burden of lifting the project themselves before being able to recruit help.
Entrepreneurs accept the heavy lifting of doing most, or all of the startup duties themselves. This involves multi-tasking across business disciplines, some of which may be areas of relative inexperience.
Long hours
And so entrepreneurs often find themselves working much longer hours and tackling far more complexities than their counterparts in employed positions or established businesses.
Problem solving
Problem-solving can be particularly draining for an entrepreneur, as they address challenges that go beyond their current skillset. Such problems can present frustrating roadblocks that stall their enterprise’s progress.
Wearing many hats
To unpick such problems, entrepreneurs must be willing to learn new technical disciplines whilst simultaneously running the early operations of their startup. This is very demanding on the entrepreneur who will find themselves under considerable stress whilst juggling such tasks.
