Entrepreneurs must be willing to take risks

Entrepreneurs have a pioneer mindset. They are champions of opportunity. They are dissatisfied with how things are and are willing to pay the cost to make them better because they esteem the potential rewards worthy.

Entrepreneurs see failure as a temporary stepping stone toward success. They accept that the process of establishing an enterprise is imperfect. And they understand that with the imperfection of that journey comes a great learning opportunity.

Perceived as irrational

The journey of entrepreneurship is far from comfortable or entirely calculated. There are often extreme trade-offs with no guarantee of success. Perhaps more rational minds would quit when faced with near financial destitution to continue their pursuit.

Pursuaded by opportunity

But entrepreneurs are driven to do the unadvisable by what would seem to many as irrational and risky motives. But this is what separates entrepreneurs from others. They are willing to: give more; last longer; and believe beyond the limitations of the majority to reach success.

Hard to find

You could perhaps call entrepreneurs a rare breed. People who are willing to risk personal financial loss, or even ruin, to achieve an uncertain, but possible business goal.
